Children’s Writers Contest, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, Boundary County Library, 6370 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry. Age categories 7-9 and 10-12. First place cash prize, second prize Bonners Books gift card, third place Froyo Mama gift card. Participants should come prepared to read an original writing for a maximum of five minutes.
