Brian Thomas Kincaid

Brian Thomas Kincaid, 63, Bonners Ferry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, after a long battle with cancer, his wife Tammi by his side. All services will be held privately. Brian was born and raised in the hills of Goshen, Connecticut, the fourth son to Donald Garfield Kincaid and Concetta Louise Kincaid.

He is pre-deceased by his parents and his eldest brother, Donald.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Tammi Kincaid, brothers Wayne Kincaid, Goshen, and Kevin Kincaid (Lisa), Seymour, Vermont, sisters Carol Stickney (Leon), Goshen, and Christine Roy (Donald), Union, Connecticut, and many nieces and nephews.

To have known Brian was a gift and he will be remembered for his big heart, quiet sense of humor and kind, caring nature. Brian loved flying, on roads and into the horizon. From a very young age he was automobile savant, repairing and rebuilding everything from Mustangs to Jaguars. He was a Harley motorcycle enthusiast and avid rider.

But his greatest love flew high above the ground. When Brian left Goshen in 1988, he followed his dreams to the big skies of Idaho and Montana where he built, owned, and flew helicopters. Recognized as a highly skilled helicopter mechanic, he was employed by his friends at both Timbers Choppers Inc., and Precision Helicopters in Boundary County. Many of his assignments had him traveling all over the U.S. and across the Pacific to exotic destinations like Kathmandu.

For countless individuals, Brian Thomas Kincaid was a bright light, a star that neither dimmed nor wavered in the brilliant way he contributed to this world. He is unforgettable and will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
