BCH Health Fair calling all community super heroes

Boundary Community Hospital (BCH) invites the community to its annual Health Fair and Fun Run on Saturday, May 18, starting at 9 am at the hospital located at 6640 Kaniksu Street, Bonners Ferry. This free event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to get involved, receive free health screenings and resources, and celebrate healthy living.

Lace up your sneakers and unleash your inner hero! The Super Hero Fun Run offers a 3K Family Walk, a 5K Run, or a 10K Run, all with a superhero theme. Don your favorite costume and show your community spirit! Fun run starts at 9 a.m.!

Attendees can take advantage of a variety of free health screenings, including blood pressure and A1C checks during the Community Hospital Health Fair. Additionally, the fair will feature informative booths on a range of health and wellness topics, including car seat safety. Safe Start will be on-site providing free car seats, car seat safety checks and car seat safety education.

And you can support local growers and add a touch of beauty to your garden with our plant sale, featuring locally grown plant starts donated by Tari Yourzek. Proceeds to benefit the Extended Care Facility.

Weather permitting and with no emergency calls, Life Flight is scheduled to land around 10 a.m. Please be aware and clear the landing pad area near that time.
