Badger boys take first wins of the season in Spokane

BaseballBoth varsity and JV Badger baseball teams won tonight, beating North Central in Spokane. Varsity won 6-4 in eight innings. These are their first wins of the season, and head coach Tom Turpin credits a strong pitching performance from Jack Woods and a timely inside the park home run from Trey Bateman.

The JV team won their first game 14-3 in four innings with a great pitching performance from Gavin Rider.

The JV squad is in Sandpoint for a double header at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.The varsity boys travel to Grangeville for a double header kicking off at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22.
