Man wanted on Boundary County sex charges found dead in Athol home

A Moyie Springs man wanted on a three-count felony Boundary County warrant was found dead in a residence off Kelso Lake Road, Athol, Tuesday afternoon after the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located him there that morning.

The Boundary County warrant issued February 2 charged Todd Andrew Miller, born in 1974, with forcible penetration, sexual abuse of a child and indecent exposure, He was also wanted on a Kootenai County warrant issued February 14 for felony failure to appear on drug charges.

Marshals requested assistance from the Bonner County Sheriff after working to get Miller to exit the home peacefully all morning. After deputies arrived, law enforcement personnel entered the home and found Miller dead. Idaho State Police are conducting a death investigation.
