Derrick and Cassie Alt, Mountain Home, Idaho, welcomed daughter Lainey Leigh Alt, their first child together, at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, she weighed seven pounds, two ounces, and she was 19 inches long.
Derrick graduated from Bonnerse Ferry High School 2010 and joined the US Air Force in January 2011, serving for 12 years. He is now customer service director for Hiler Oil Company, Mountain Home. Cassie is also in the Air Force.
She joins step-sister Makayla, 13, and step brother Anthony, 11.
Her grandparents are Heather and Pat Stevens, Russ and Sabrina Alt, Carrie and Ken Yost and Donnie and Pat Marx. Her great grandparents are John and Linda Alt, Rick and Jeannie Alonzo, Susie and Larry Moore, Carol English, Wilna Langley and Tommy Bologno.
