‘Thank you’ shared over ice cream at Restorium social

Rotary Ice Cream Social
Bonners Ferry Rotary members manned the scoops, slung the bowls, swirled the whipped cream and sliced the bananas to tastefully thank Restorium for helping out at Easter.

President Linda Lederhos led a sizable contingent of Bonners Ferry Rotarians to the Boundary County Community Restorium this afternoon laden with various flavors of ice cream, sprinkles, whipped cream, bananas and more and treated residents to a lip-smackingly wonderful ice cream social enjoyed by young and old alike.

The treat was the Rotary Club’s flavorful way of thanking Restorium residents for another year coloring each and all of the more than 1,900 boiled eggs into Easter eggs hidden in the Rotary Club’s annual Rotary Easter Egg Hunt at the Boundary  County Fairgrounds.

As if thanks were needed! It’s a joy to help the Easter Bunny, and having youngsters eager to help and have fun with their newly made “old” friends makes it an even occasion even more special.
